Crescent Rolls with Sausage and Cream Cheese

 


Crescent Rolls are not just holiday meals or special moments. 

Nowadays we use Kipferl for  many different meals and foods. 

These sausage and cream cheese croissants are awesome! They are tasty and delicious.

They make a perfect breakfast!Serve them  with a side of eggs and you have a complete meal.

 Ingredients

or 1 pound. Ground Sausage, Breakfast, Italian or Other

or 1 cup. Shredded cheese of your choice

or 8 oz. Soft cream cheese

or 2 cans of chilled croissants

or pepper to taste

How to prepare cream cheese croissants with sausage

1.Preheat  oven to 375 degrees.

2.Roll out the croissants and cut each triangle in half lengthwise.

3.Cook the ground sausage until completely browned.

4. Put the cooled minced sausage in a  bowl with the cream cheese and grated cheese of your choice and pepper to taste. Stir until completely mixed.

5. Place a ball of the sausage mixture on each piece of bun, where it has the most fat.

6. Starting at the wide end, roll the crescent  dough over the sausage filling to create a filled mini  crescent roll.

7. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
