Immerse yourself in the heart of German culinary tradition with potato pancakes, also known as potato pancakes.

These golden, crunchy delights are a staple of German cuisine and popular at festivals, Christmas markets and family banquets.

Dating back to the 19th century as a popular street food in cities like Berlin and Cologne, these potato pancakes embody the taste of history and home cooking.

They can be served in many ways and go wonderfully with applesauce or sour cream for a spicy note. But they can also be refined with smoked salmon or sausages if you fancy a savory experience.

Complement them with a fresh green salad or spicy sauerkraut to complete a healthy meal.
